Don’t Worry About Punctuality

Since Peruvians are generally laid-back, stop worrying if you’re going to be late for something and don’t fret about being on time.  When you get invited to a social occasion like dinner, say, in a restaurant, allow for a few minutes before expecting company.  If you got invited to someone’s home for the same, don’t show up at the exact time as you’re host will most likely not be ready to receive guests until a half hour later.  They will only be surprised and probably get pressured to hurry up with the preparations so take your time and don’t be in a rush.  Best to drop by somewhere you can get a token for the host.
