Don’t Take Pictures Without Asking For Permission

Taking photos is expected of every tourist on vacation, but exercise restraint and don’t just point and shoot your camera to whatever catches your fancy, especially if you want to take pictures of locals. Don’t forget to ask permission first to avoid any trouble or confrontation. Don’t mistake people for zoo animals that you can take pictures of without a care. This goes as well for the authorities, whether police or military, including their respective offices or buildings, including airport installations.  This would also apply in churches, where it would be an obvious sign of disrespect to worshippers.
