77. World’s Most Expensive Flower – $15.8 Million for a Bouquet
If you’ve never seen a Juliet Rose you really shouldn’t be that surprised. The flower was actually created by David Austin, and it took 15 years to actually grow it. It was eventually showcased in 2006 during the Chelsea Flower Show. Part of the reason why it’s so expensive is the way that it blooms and changes in tone and color, with a bloom that’s said to have a record holding bloom and is uniquely it’s own. But more than that, the display for the show cost $15.8 million, which was record breaking as well.
