JFK served as the 35th President from 1961 until his assassination in 1963, which brought tears and dismay all over the world. He may have been the most beloved US President according to scholars. Lee Harvey Oswald was charged with the crime, but was killed by Jack Ruby before he could go on trial. It still remains a mystery as to what really happened on November 22,1963 in Dallas, Texas. Major events during his term were the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the American Civil Rights Movement, and the early events of the Vietnam War.
