Lucy Liu Taught Aerobics Classes

Lucy Liu is well-known for her roles as the cold and ferocious Mandarin-speaking lawyer Ling Woo in the TV series Ally McBeal, the shirasaya-wielding assassin O-Ren Ishii, codename Cottonmouth, in Kill Bill, and the sophisticated, bomb-defusing, crime-fighter Alex Munday in Charlie’s Angels. Before Liu rose to the stardom on television and the big screen, she was an aerobics instructor—and her high level of physical fitness and moves sure came in handy for her tough-girl routines.
Liu also worked as a hostess at a SoHo restaurant and as a secretary before she became the multitalented personality we know now. Aside from acting, Liu is also a model, singer, dancer, host, visual artist, and director. She’s the first Asian woman to host Saturday Night Live, and she’s also the voice behind Master Viper in the Kung Fu Panda franchise.
Today, Liu still hits the gym and stays fit cycling, attending Pilates sessions, doing her own stunts (she doesn’t have a body double in the drama TV series Elementary), and sticking to an all-organic diet.
