The American actor and producer, Christopher Michael Pratt, rose to fame for his role as Andy Dwyer in the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Before he received critical acclaim and achieved leading man status, Pratt was raised in a blue-collar household, sold blackberries door-to-door as a child, dropped out of a local community college, was homeless and living out of a van, and began working as a stripper when he was 19, performing in bachelorette and birthday parties.
Pratt didn’t make much from his days taking off his clothes. However, he obtained commercial success when he wore the maroon jacket of the interplanetary policeman Star-Lord in Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy. Pratt acquired even more financial success with the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise, Jurassic World, as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. In 2015, Time magazine listed Pratt as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
