After Selena, Lopez starred in two other films in the late 1990s, Anaconda and Out of Sight, then began her music career with her debut album, On the 6, transforming her from a film star into a pop star. Aside from achieving success with her consecutive studio albums, Lopez continued to lead in movies and became very popular with the romantic comedies, The Wedding Planner, Maid in Manhattan, and Monster-in-Law. Lopez also appeared as a judge on American Idol and World of Dance.
