To think that the Navy used a woman on their posters just so that they could say that they weren’t good enough to join the navy? Crazy that their tagline reads, “Gee!! I wish I were a man. I’d join the NAVY.” Then to make matters worse, they continued by saying “Be a man and do it,” because God forbid you were born a woman and you weren’t the right gender to serve your country. Aside from insinuating that women were too weak to be in service, the fact that they thought that it was okay to make women feel degraded for the way they were born is even worse.
