In case you weren’t aware, apparently this advertisement is here to tell you that pears are “no shape for a girl.” At least that’s what this particular endorsement claims, right? It’s no secret that women were held to a very different standard before, where they were expected to have bodies comparable to Coca-Cola bottles. These days, body equality movements have proven that bodies of all sizes and shapes are celebrated, loved and respected, which honestly, should have always been the case.
