Whoever came up with this ad should have just straight up written, “Pedophiles welcome here!” The fact that this particular ad is for what seems to be lip balm is actually sexualizing what looks to be a very young girl, is just all kinds of wrong. From the Shirley Temple hair, the fuzzy white teddy bear, the innocent looking nighty, to the horrible tagline “Because innocence is sexier than you think,” is all strangely provocative in an incredibly forward way at that. One has to wonder who this ad was meant to be aimed at because if you ask us honestly, it really shouldn’t be kids. And if it’s for women, it’s just as horrific.
