Apparently There’s A Look You Can Get to ‘Marry-A-Millionaire!’

Pinterest

Apparently, back in the 1960s, Frederick’s of Hollywood actually put out an ad that featured a way to get that “marry-a-millionaire” look. Aside from fixing your hair in a particular way, other features were “plus” cleavage, padded buttocks , a “new” waist all to get that “come-hither natural look.” It may sound nuts but the ad is seriously telling women how to make themselves “attractive” enough to entice rich men to marry them. Once again, women were placed in another sexist box where they were expected to look a certain way if they ever wanted to find a husband, especially one with money, at that.
