Guns Shoved Down Their Jockey Shorts? Why Not!

Weird Universe

Back in 1955, popular underwear brand Jockey had a campaign for their junior t-shirt and brief line showing boys shoving guns down their underwear. Why? Who knows! But the caption reads “They keep their fit!” While the ad meant to prove that their underwear kept its shape through wearing, washing and repeating the process over and over again, apparently showing that a gun stayed in place in the garter was meant to prove their point. Honestly, all we see is a young boy holding a gun when really, he should never have anything close to a weapon shoved down his pants.
