Once again, the sexist expectations were that women were forced to stay home, take care of their families, clean the house and from this advertisement, stay slim while doing it too. Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing wrong with eating cereal for breakfast if that’s what you like, but the issue with this particular ad is that it’s claiming that “Total watches your vitamins while you watch your weight.” It also shows a picture that women should not only be watching out for their weight, they should be taking care of the everyday chores required in the household as well.
