Life during a war can’t be easy, more so when you’re attempting to get fit. For these American soldiers, they had to do whatever they could to remain in tip top condition, especially if they wanted to keep fighting the world’s worst tyrant at that time. Aside from using equipment that looked like it was handmade using empty drums, steel bars and cement, they were made to stand under the warm sun while in uniform. It must have worked though because eventually, they won.
