Japan’s Homeless After the War

War brings about loss and destruction in massive amounts, and this was no different in Japan. After World War II brought along major devastation in the Land of the Rising Sun, it left thousands of Japanese homeless. This photo shows Japanese men attempting to rebuild their homes and their lives, using old vehicles and buses and making them into makeshift homes. It’s a good thing that the Japanese are incredibly disciplined and hardworking, because they not only built their lives back but today, Japan is an incredibly forward-thinking and technologically advanced nation.
