The alcoholic energy drink company that produces Four Loko found themselves under attack in the late 2000s after a number of drinkers claimed that they were having psychotic episodes, as well as leading to quite a large amount of deaths. Aside from this drink being marketed to mostly younger kids, it contains stimulants that are unhealthy when taken in excess. The FDA eventually banned any alcohol-based energy drinks from having caffeine, which is why these types of drinks can no longer be manufactured or sold anywhere within the United States.
