Clackers

Redtricom

This is another example of a children’s toy back in the early 70s that would eventually get banned. These clackers were made from two acrylic balls tied with a string, and too often than not, they would crash against each other so hard that they would shatter, causing shrapnel to fly into the children’s faces. It was also because of this that a number of safety regulations were put into place, as well as giving parents a reason to watch over their kids more than they first deemed necessary.
