Malnutrition in North Korea

Source: Bored Panda

According to Global News back in March 2019, “An estimated 11 million people in North Korea — over 43 percent of the population — are undernourished and “chronic food insecurity and malnutrition is widespread,” this was according to a U.N. report that was published in the same month. Then in July 2019, Reuters reported that “International aid agencies as well as North Korea state media have been warning that erratic weather with drought and floods, and a lack of access to resources could lead to a food crisis in a country under strict international sanctions over leader Kim Jong Un’s pursuit of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.”
The simplest solution to resolve the undernourishment of the population? Prohibit anyone taking pictures of individuals who look malnourished.
