Queueing for Public Transport

Source: Bright Side

The public transportation system in Pyongyang can be slow, painful and uncomfortable. Special mention would be the tram system. This in particular, is one of the most crowded in the world. Hordes of people queueing to get on to the tram is a common sight. You will then see these commuters cramming into the trams during the morning rush hour (around 6am to 8:30am). Getting across town via the mass transit system would normally take an average person about an hour. Couple the long lines with power outages, and the poor condition the public transportation is in, most guides wouldn’t want tourists to take pictures of such scenes.
