Unsafe Construction Work

The picture shows construction workers applying a cement layer finish to a structure. However, to westerners this might actually look like a scene from a circus, because of the hanging ropes everywhere. But this is actually just a construction site in a country with low safety standards. The thing is that the picture was illegally taken since taking pictures of run-down, unfinished, and unmaintained structures isn’t allowed.

A worrying scenario would be if any of the workers hurt themselves. What if they break a leg? Or something worse happens? There is minimal to none existent medical help for the average North Korean. There are hospitals in Pyongyang however, their resources are limited and may not be available to the average poor North Korean.
