Subway in Pyongyang

Source: Bright Side

North Korea has a subway system. The Pyongyang Metro is the main subway system in Pyongyang, which is the capital of North Korea. Pyongyang Metro has two main lines: the Chollima Line and the Hyoksin Line. This subway is a strategic facility, which is why you can only take photos at certain parts of the subway. You need to ask your tour guide if you can take photos before you do, if you do take a photo of a prohibited location, your tour guide will get upset with you. In most cases, the tour guide will just delete the photo that you took or even confiscate your camera. Foreigners are only permitted to ride at and to certain stations on the Pyongyang Metro. There are only 3 stations that are open to foreign visitors. However, as soon as a train arrives at the terminal (for guests) station, they’re kindly requested to come out. And please take note that the hallway pictured above is not one of the aforementioned “photo-friendly” locations.
