Best:
Nebraskans should be proud to have most of its high school students finishing their education, 93.7% of them, to be exact. The country’s high school graduation rate is currently at its best, with The Cornhusker State leading other states in the list.
Oh, and did you know that Nebraska is the only state with a non-partisan, single chamber lawmaking body in the US? Its hard to believe that in today’s politically-charged government atmosphere, there’s one state that chooses to remain neutral.
Worst:
While it’s legislature remains neutrally charged, Nebraska’s roads are of a different matter. According to data gathered from social media, Nebraska is the worst state to drive in, based on incidents of road rage per capita.
Not only that, CBS News reports that the state ranks 4th in drunk driving prevalence, with over 800 per 1,000 residents confessing to driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Lastly, Nebraska’s weather is just as temperamental as its drivers, with the state averaging almost 40 tornadoes every year. In 2004 alone, Nebraska recorded a mind-boggling 110 twisters touching down within its borders.
