Pennsylvania has the most number of licensed hunters per person in all of the 50 states. To give you an idea of how many there are, let’s just say that there are more than 20 hunters for every square mile of The Keystone State’s territory, and that’s a lot!

The Philadelphia delicacy has gained so much popularity that people all over the country try to emulate it. However, nothing beats the original Philly version, which is why you should make it a point to get one if ever you find yourself in the streets of Philadelphia, PA.

There’s a reason why Pennsylvania has the most number of licensed hunters in the country, and that’s because of the number of game in the state, particularly deer. In fact, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department says that there is a 1-in-70 chance of you hitting a deer on the road. Because of this, the state has the 2nd most deer-related vehicle accidents in the country. The only way we see you avoiding hitting one with your car is if you decide to leave your vehicle at home, no thanks to the extremely high taxes on fuel.

The state is known to have the highest gasoline levy of all the states, with PA residents being taxed up to 77.1 cents per gallon of gas.
