Best:
Delaware’s small-town feel makes it one of those places that you’d like to stay in forever. It isn’t as crowded as the bigger states, making the quaint and peaceful state the perfect destination for those seeking a respite from big city life. Delaware only has 3 counties, which are loosely populated with no more than 100,000 people living in each.
Not only that. What Delaware lacks in people, it makes up for in businesses, and that’s because the state is known as being a tax haven for companies. More companies are incorporated in The First State that anywhere else in the US, with more than 60% of Fortune 500 companies basing their operations in Delaware.
Worst:
Delaware has its small town appeal because, surprise, it IS a small place. With only 3 counties and no cities, it would be easy for one to miss the state, especially since its surrounded by nearby metropolises such as Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. It is also ranked as the least fun state due to its lack of night life and even has the least number of movie theaters per person among all of the states. Talk about boring!
