The Evergreen state offers the best outdoor attractions that its residents can enjoy. It is an excellent place to find peace and relaxation, and is also a great place to become physically active. Washington is the most bike-friendly state in the country, thanks to the efforts of the city government of Seattle that put in place a bike-share program to decrease congestion in the city. It also enacted new laws that protect riders and keep cyclists safe.

Worst:

Getting on a bike in Washington may be a bad idea though, considering that the state often has some of the worst air quality that side of the US. Not only that, Seattle’s rains can make riding impossible, with the city being soaked 152 days a year, you’ll be lucky to get to where you’re going without getting drenched.

Owning a car is also a pain in the state, especially since Washington ranks 4th among the states with the highest incidents of car theft in the nation.
