Best:
Florida isn’t called The Sunshine State for nothing. All that beautiful weather makes it the perfect place to go on a holiday, in fact, it was even voted as the top vacation destination in America, hosting millions of visitors from all over the world annually.
The state is home to some of the world’s best theme parks, such as Disney World and Universal Studios Florida, but if those aren’t your thing, maybe its beautiful beaches and sprawling nature reserves are. But if you consider yourself more of a nocturnal creature, Florida nights are also just as fun, with some of the best clubs for partying located in known hotspots like Miami.
Another thing that Florida is best for is its infrastructure, which is considered to be the safest in the nation. With all those tourists passing through its roads, and bridges, it’s comforting to know that Florida has those well-taken care of.
Worst:
With all that partying and sight-seeing to keep one busy in Florida, people tend to disregard the simpler pastimes, such as reading books. Fewer and fewer Floridians get access to libraries nowadays, with the state having the least number of libraries per person than anywhere else in the country.
The influx of partygoers visiting Florida also gives rise to a darker and more menacing problem: Drugs. According to experts, 15 Floridians die of opioid overdoses every day. Not only that, drug users also share needles among themselves, exponentially raising the number of HIV cases in the state, the highest seen among all the other states.
