All of us have reason to thank Texas, well, at least a third of us Americans, and that’s for providing us with the fuel to power our energy needs. The Lone Star State accounts for about 30% of the USA’s oil, and with prices going up everywhere, we’re pretty sure that the economy in the state is booming, which leads us to the next best thing Texas has.

Texas is currently the best state to start a business in. With money from oil flowing in, the state is seeing a growth in the job sector since more and more venture capital is enticing entrepreneurs to open shop there.

Worst:

It’s sad that despite the surge in economy, Texas still finds itself with the highest health insurance costs, leading to only 82.7% of its population having coverage. The current national civilian health insurance coverage rate is 91.3%, well-above Texas’s numbers
