Montana – Carroll College

This Catholic liberal arts college is a small and private institution founded in 1909 in Helena, Montana. It has been recognized as the top regional college for several years now, as well as the best regional college for veterans and undergraduate teaching. It is also known for producing some of the best biology students in the country, as well as pre-med and chemistry majors. The school offers 39 majors, 41 minors, and 1 graduate program in Accountancy for its student population of 1,354. It has around 35 organizations and features the Carroll Adventure and Mountaineering Program of CAMP for outdoor fun and adventure. Although initially founded as an all-men’s college, the female population is now at 58%, while being a Catholic school does not prevent the school from enrolling students from other religions.
