This public research school in Tucson founded in 1885 offers more than 300 majors through its 17 colleges with popular programs in health and physical sciences, and even offers an undergraduate degree in law, aside from agriculture, education, architecture, fine arts, and many others. The university has its own arboretum and biosphere, making it one of the greenest, with trees and plants that can only be found in the campus and not anywhere else in the state.
