Maine – Bowdoin College

Bowdoin College was established in 1794 and is considered as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the country. This small college has 1,805 students enrolled in its 34 majors and 38 minors, with student-to-faculty ratio of 9:1. The fraternities were abolished in the 1990s and its place stands eight houses that the students are affiliated with starting on their first year. In addition, the school has over 100 student organizations and clubs for students to choose from. The campus is conveniently located with access to the beauty and comfort of Maine, with an additional facility in on Orr’s island and Kent island. Research focuses on the challenges in the environment, aided by its newest facility, the Roux Center for the Environment.
