New Hampshire – Dartmouth College

This Ivy League university was founded in 1769 and is the 9th-oldest institution of higher education in the country. It enrolls about 4,400 undergraduates in more than 50 departments and programs (almost half of which receive aid from the school, and 2,100 graduate students in its four renowned graduate schools – the Geisel School of Medicine, the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, Thayer School of Engineering, and the Tuck School of Business. The school employs four 10-week terms with courses that can be personalized to suit the students’ needs, including options on when to study on or off-campus, and even abroad. It also has more than 160 student groups and organizations that cater to various passions and interests.
