Founded in 1889, the University of Idaho’s sprawling 1,600-acre campus located in Moscow now houses almost 12,000 students availing of the university’s ten different schools and colleges which include Education, Health and Human Sciences, Engineering, Law, and Science, among others, that offer more than 300 degrees for undergraduate and graduate students, including 83 master’s, and 41 doctoral programs. There are also more than 200 registered school organizations for students to choose from. The oldest and largest public university in the state, the campus features an arboretum, a botanical garden, and even a golf course.
